Statement

Conte has focused on a very wide thematic spectrum in the development of his work, which has changed over time without abiding by any aesthetic canon in its treatment, always different and new. His work seeks to evoke the past through the representation of objects, which in turn serve as symbols, in such a way that his work is intimate, personal and evocative. You can find everyday elements with symbolic meaning in his works: flowers, pearl necklaces, chairs, vases.
