Statement
“He is jaguars and palm trees, canoes and Corinthian capitals, beautiful ethereal women and boys who float a few inches from the ground, parrots and jungles, small planes that leave death lines in the blue air, variegated fields of poppies. The magic of an ink stroke that slides over the paper repeating the shapes of the world, of a brush that happily transforms the canvas into a land of illusion.
