The FORO at Pinta Miami 2024 brings together artists, curators, researchers, collectors, and cultural institutions in dialogues that address the challenges of managing initiatives and developing contemporary art projects from Latin America. The program includes presentations of recent publications on the experiences and dynamics of art collecting, as well as conversations on new models of collaboration and management for art institutions, the art market, and interior design. Additionally, there will be a screening of short films and audiovisual proposals by South American artists that establish exchanges between contemporary creation, traditional knowledge, and both ancestral and current technologies.

Screening of audiovisual projects by Latin American artists featured in the NEXT section.
This selection explores exchanges between contemporary creation and traditional knowledge in South American contexts, addressing the relationship between technology and humanity. Using video clips, performance recordings, and video-performances, the works examine dreams, plant-based healing, and ancestral and contemporary technologies to reflect on the global environmental crisis and the transformations in coexistence among beings, languages, and cultures.
