Founded in 1986 by a group of young artists, Galeria Monumental is an independent contemporary art gallery that keeps working with young artists.
It features around 12 exhibitions per year. It has been involved in exchange programs with galleries from Zurich, Budapest, Curitiba, or Warsaw and participates in international art fairs, such as ARCO Madrid, JustMad (Madrid and Lisbon), ARTE Lisboa (Lisbon), Art Event (France), Draw Art Fair (London) or Drawing Room (Madrid and Lisbon).
