Bio
He studied arts at the Parque Lage School of Visual Arts, where he was also a teacher. He participates in the Geração 80 movement. Numerous exhibitions, including editions of Bienalls of São Paulo, Veneza, among others. Have works in important brazilian museums and abroad.
Statement
Participant in the movement Geração 80, that returns to figurative painting, freer, after years of dictatorship in Brazil. The artist refers to being more interested in the image than in the painting process, representing himself through his physical surroundings, when using prints of floors, nails. Uses a reduced color palette, usually in earth tones.
