Jorge Cerqueira Throughout his career, he has exhibited several individual exhibitions (Toulouse Gallery, Laurinda Santos Lobo Cultural Center, Rio de Janeiro) and collective exhibitions (450 years of the São Paulo Foundation, SESC Pompéia, Municipal Museum of Art Cidade at Curitiba and Galeria Zagut at Rio de Janeiro) and Contemporary Art Salons (Salão de Piracicaba - SP and Prize at Salão da Primavera at Resende - RJ). Statement
Sometimes I wonder how many trips, learnings, experiences can fit in one life. Art is learning, we don't stop for a moment to learn. I have a lot of passion for what I do. I like to build stories in my head. In painting I combine all these elements as in a dream, although it is during the vigil that art, poetry of life, takes place. I start from the zero degree of the blank canvas, I put the colors, the stains and lines, at that moment the story I need to tell is born !!
