Bruno Widmann

He is an artist with many exhibitions who has won several international awards. His works have been auctioned at Christie's and Sotheby's since 1981. He was an artist of the world who chose to work in his country, spreading aesthetic modernization. Widmann leaves behind a transcendent and timeless work. The figures and special environments that he creates in each of his canvases, dialogue and discover worlds of unknown dimensions, as infinite as the spectators who observe them. His paintings are in important private collections and are also found in the National Museum of Visual Arts of Montevideo (MNAV), Reina Sofía Museum in Madrid, Museums of France, Buenos Aires, Haifa and the United States.
