Teresa Cabo

Artist, teacher and cultural manager born in Montevideo. Her works transmit narratives and elements of surprise, moving between the stylized and symbolic images that question the visible and the material. She works oil with brushes and spatulas. She also uses mixed media and a diversity of elements that she recycles in her works. She thinks that art can be a tool for changing awareness of environmental problems. She has participated in many national and international Art Fairs and exhibitions in Japan, France, Egypt, the United States, among others. Her work has been awarded and integrates several private collections and the collection of the National Museum of Natural History of Uruguay.
