Carlos Alonso

Bio

Carlos Alonso (born Tunuyán, Mendoza, Argentina, 4 February 1929), is a contemporary Argentine painter, draftsman and printmaker. Though he was a Social realist in his early career, he is best known as a New realist.
 At the age of fourteen, he entered the Academia Nacional de Bellas Artes where he studied under Sergio Sergi in drawing and engraving, Lorenzo Dominguez in sculpture, and Bernareggi Francisco and Ramón Gomez Cornet in painting.

2015:

2017:

Se inaugura el museo municipal de Bellas artes Carlos Alonso en la ciudad de General Villegas, provincia de Buenos Aires.

2018:

Se inaugura el museo Carlos Alonso - Mansion Stoppel en la ciudad de Mendoza.
