Statement
With my images I intend to establish questions around the portrait, the digital image and the limits of what we consider as photographic in congruence with the current digital age. I work from different visual strategies and exclusively digital production methods such as drawing (created on a computer), photomontage, high manipulation and retouching. From these methodologies I build new digitally created characters, non-existent faces, impossible bodies and fictional spaces. I am interested in placing myself in doubt, the unreal, taking photography towards the world of the imprecise, towards the mobile and repeatable of the pixel, creating sensations that rise above the testimonial and truthful. From that task, finally reflect on the construction of our image in a world of extreme virtuality.
