Statement
Francisca Garriga's work is part of the long modern tradition of Op art, in this way, her work is characterized by the exploration of patterns, colors, lights and shadows creating optical illusions that cast doubt on the authority of the eye. Thus, through a sophisticated geometric abstraction, which combines both chromatic tensions and illusions of perspective, his works seek to generate perceptual responses that confuse the gaze.
