Dulce Pinzón
Bio
Dulce Pinzón (Mexico, 1974). She studied at the International Center of Photography (ICP) in New York City. In 2001 her photos were used for the book cover A People’s History of the United States, by Howard Zinn. That same year, she won the prestigious scholarship Jóvenes Creadores by FONCA. Her work has been published and recognized with different awards around the world and is part of important collections.
Statement
An extraordinary documentary work on the adverse conditions of the brave Mexican migrant workers in the United States, where long working hours and a personal and family sacrifice define a complex social dynamic, which the artist shows in a fantastic way.
