Considered ‘’ the lady of Brazilian concretism ’’ In 1952 Judith Lauand is a prestigious member of the Grupo Ruptura in Sao Paulo, led by Waldemar Cordeiro and was the only woman who was part of the Group. Judith Lauand's work is a unique contribution to the exploration of Concretism in Brazil and during this time she was incredibly influential. She was invited to the 3rd, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th biennials of São Paulo. Recognized, Lauand is today present in museums and international collections.
