Eduardo Medici
Bio
From the beginning and taking into account his training, his paintings formulate a perspective on life and death, on human miseries. They constitute deep reflections that derive from the direction of his gaze on
the human body.
Statement
Throughout the decade he emphasized his interest in the subject of the body through other avenues. He begins to use other materials that he combines with painting: X-rays, photocopies, transfers, photographic negatives, etc. In this way, the human drama that he had underlined in "I divided" ceases to be the leitmotif of the work and what the author begins to prioritize is the tension between memory and forgetfulness.
