Marta Rivero
Bio
Born in Los Toldos, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. She received her degree in architecture from the UBA in 1992. She traveled to the United States and continued her training in sculpture at Grove City College, PA. Take a Certificate in Management at Penn State University. Back in Buenos Aires she developed as an architect and visual artist. She works as a Design IV teacher at the Faculty of Architecture - UBA and does an internship at the Teatro Colón (Opera de BA).
Statement
Rivero elaborates through dreams and her magical world narrations where she recreates the emotions of the characters that she captures in her drawings. The line allows him to maintain a dialogue with the work, the structure on which Rivero leans, goes from figuration to abstraction like a strip of moebius and configures the topography he needs to talk about Love and Death.
