Statement

Urban, social and ecological issues have been the raw material of Reyes’ creative process, which revolves around concepts of everyday life and the emotions of the time we live in. These ideas are renewed according to her experience - she is in constant observation of human behavior and its evolution. These concerns are never literal, but often appear simplified to shapes, colors and textures in her work, which is in the borderline between figuration and abstraction.
