Statement

In March, 2020, COVID-19 seized me in Buffalo, NY, 6 hours from my New Jersey home. Being where I live the epicenter of the pandemic in the US, I decided to stay with my partner Imara López in her house. With my camera and an off camera flash, we seeked to take advantage of our time in seclusion, and worked on a series of photographs. The ideas flowed in the same proportion as the obstacles and lack of the right equipment, but we managed to create a photograph a day for 40 days.
