Juan Sarias

Bio

Received his art education of Taller Torres-García. He was 6 years old when he joined Pailos Studio. In 1974 he started his learning of ceramic at the Collell Atelier. In 1985, he moved to the USA, took drawing classes with Alpuy in NY and made frequent visits to the sculptor G. Fonseca for more than a decade. Since 1988 he has been affiliated with the United Nations in NY and his work with numerous diplomatic missions has taken him to South Africa, Indonesia and Nepal. Sarias presently lives and works in Milford, Connecticut.
