Martín Reyna
Bio
Born in 1964 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Reyna has gone through various periods with more than three decades of experimentation. He studied sociology at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and currently lives and works in Paris. He done numerous solo shows and won many awards. In 2017 he presented his most recent book, published together with Del Infinito. His work is found in various private and public collections around the world.
Statement
Uses water-soluble materials that he allows flow so that they look for autonomous paths in their journey across the surface of the paper. In his work, in addition to the use of perspective, different rhythms, falls and accidents of the material are noted, accentuated by the intensity of color. His works, over time, have been composed of subtle lines, inspired by the landscape.
