Statement
My work emerges from wandering questions about landscapes, aiming to create dialogues with viewers from a subjective perspective. Drawing, painting, and sculpture are fundamental to my creative process and personal explorations. The experience of leaving my hometown has become both the starting point and catalyst for this process, with Zaragoza serving as the contextual reference. This exodus represents a turning point in my life, where the emotional weight of displacement and solitude in an unfamiliar context trigger layers of meaning. Absence manifests with full symbolic impact within these desolate and overwhelming landscapes.
Recognizing ourselves as beings inhabiting a space we have gradually devastated has led me to investigate more deeply into the causes and effects on the landscape, with mining becoming the central theme in my most recent works.
