Statement

Danilo is interested in the human ability to create artisanal crafts, thoughts, fictions, ideas, solutions, and emotions; in the dynamics of the spaces we inhabit, the void, collective forces, and the riddles life holds for us. He explores the materiality of things that do not exist but are imagined, the magic contained within certain materials, people, and places—translating these into objects of reflective and aesthetic character. Consequently, sculpture becomes both a technical resource and a container for ideas and realities drawn from the farthest reaches of the human mind.
