Statement
Undo-redo-undo-redo is not only a way of expressing contemporary art but probably the foundation of certain existences.
To revisit old and, according to common sense, unusable books, to see them again, to touch them again, means to give them a meaning, a use.
In this series, I takes books from Gothic cathedrals and hotels in Paris (circa 1890/1920). I trim its sheets with scissors, sometimes I use the colored pages and others I leave the white parts with its fungal spots and the passage of time.
The material I use is always the paper of books already discarded.
Trimmed paper creating new readings maybe.
Volume and movement always present in my works.
