Bio
Born in Rio de Janeiro, in 1966. Lives and works in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. His gaze permeates signs of the imaginary of mass culture, advertising, domestic objects and interiors and a reflection on the public and urban landscape. The artist questions power structures, in the micro and macropolitical spheres, in countless series unfolded in languages such as painting, drawing, sculpture, photography and video. His work has already been seen in France, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, Portugal, Colombia and occupies important collections such as MARGS (Museu de Arte do Rio Grande do Sul), National Library of Rio de Janeiro and SESC Amapá Collection. He was a finalist for the Marcantonio Vilaça award in 2019, in addition to other awards throughout his career.
