Andrey Guaianá Zignnatto

Born in Jundiaí (São Paulo) in 1981. Lives and works in Jundiaí and São Paulo, Brazil.
A self-taught artist, since the beginning of his career Andrey shows his works as an activator of labor’s universe: cement bags, bricks, mortar joints, walls and construction fragments have been used by him in multiple gestures, cut or repaired. Connecting art and life, he invites the observer to reflect on the unstable and dynamic relation that the human being establishes with the surroundings. Promotes a synthesis of the struggle between tradition and contemporaneity and its effects on society and local cultures. His artworks are part of important collections, such as Museu de Arte do Rio (MAR) and Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM – USA).
