1983 Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina.
Egresado de la Lic. en Bellas Artes en la especialidad pintura. Realizó análisis de obra con Luis Felipe Noé y la Escuela de Proyectos becado por la Galería Isidro Miranda. Ha realizado muestras individuales en la Galería Cecilia Caballero, Gabelich Contemporáneo, entre otras.
Participó de muestras en: MAMBA, MUNTREF, La Usina del Arte, Centro Cultural Recoleta, Centro Cultural San Martín, UADE Art Institute, Museo del Arte en vidrio de Altare, Italia.
Statement
Rodríguez usually builds his artworks from the repetition of small, modular and minimal gestures. It starts from simple and straightforward structures that, when repeated systematically, construct new meanings. The use of geometry, optical effects and the link with architecture are fundamental resources. He works extensively on the selection of materials, studying how each surface reacts to light. The translucent, the reflection, the opaque, the shadow, become essential compositional elements.
