Bio
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1974. Lives and works in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Sound and visual artist, he transits between sculpture, performance, installation, photography and video. Adept of an aesthetic that ranges from surrealism to neoconcretism and immersive art, the sounds and objects in his work are loaded with concept, form and experience. A percussionist graduated at the Los Angeles Music Academy (USA), in 2007 he entered the world of visual arts, incorporating elements of his musical experience into his poetry combined with organic and everyday materials. His works have already been exhibited in several countries, such as Germany, England and Italy, participating in group and individual exhibitions in important cultural centers and museums such as the Bienal de Cerveira (Portugal), MAM-Rio (Brazil) and the Victoria and Albert Museum (England).
