Statement
My images are often copies of my own body in different circumstances that try to challenge models, fashions, canons and paradigms of society. In much of my work I use parody of myself, my body, using the stereotypes of childhood, of pop art and of Argentine popular culture. I place the portrait, as a genre, in the place of criticism and self-criticism, placing my own image in the place of heroism or baseness, taking myself as an object, as a specimen and subjecting myself to all kinds of adjectives that modify the perception of the artist and his reality, his time and his place.
