She resided in the cities of Buenos Aires and then in Rosario. She has participated in various group exhibitions in the United States, Latin America, and Europe. Between 2022 and 2023, three solo shows stand out: "Bearing the Break" at CRUDO in Rosario, Argentina; "The Desire of Not Wanting" in Buenos Aires, Argentina; and the third exhibition "The Swan's Song" at the Borges Cultural Center in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2023, she received a special mention at the 111th National Visual Arts Salon 2023.

Statement

Nicole Mazza works with textiles, embroidery, hand-sewing, and hand-dyeing. She incorporates religious references, soap opera stereotypes, and pop culture as reflections of human conditioning, juxtaposing the delicacy of embroidery, primarily associated with feminine tradition, with sexualized imagery. She is intrigued by the iconography of women seen through the lens of fantasies constructed in society over time. "She, the woman built, deconstructed and reconstructed, devoured and fragmented."
