Statement
Mariana Cordoba is an abstract artist from Miami, FL. She fell into painting because colors and textures brought an emotional escape. Painting brings her the most happiness. She paints because creating the perfect piece shows clearly what she is thinking and makes her feel joy. She grabs inspiration from everyday people and figures with interesting textures, depth of color. Once she internalizes it, she goes and paints it with enthusiasm. She is a fan of mixed media. She loves to explore new mediums. Mariana practices silkscreen and photography. Mariana graduated from the University of Miami in December 2019 with a degree in Studio Art and graduates in December 2021 from the MRED+U program at the University of Miami.
