Statement

The work of María José Leaño, researcher in Biomimicry, Biomedical Engineering and artist, revolves around pollination, as a point of union between zoology, botany and human health, which she probes with microscopes, microphones and cameras. The evolution of her work goes from the textile printing of floral themes and micrographs, to the 3D printing of pollen grains and the study of signs and intelligent materials used by nature for its survival.
