Statement

I think that all images are something ghostly, they are present and absent simultaneously. I want to remark the tension between appearance and reality that every image contains, and play with the farce and the scam that all representation has. The materiality of my work is often fragile and I want to exacerbate this condition, because it is a reality to which nothing in this world escapes. The narration and the text interest me as a way to weave networks of meanings and expand the evocations that any image can have.
