Fernanda Froes is a Brazilian visual artist born in Rio de Janeiro who has been based in Miami, Florida since 2017. After graduating in Graphic Design and Industrial Design from UERJ - Universidade Estadual do Rio de Janeiro, she established an extensive career as a designer and art director in Brazilian and multinational advertising agencies. In 2020, she embarked on a Master’s program in Visual Arts at the Miami Art Institute (MIUAD), a critical step that led her career path to undergo a significant transformation, shifting her focus from design to contemporary art. Her works have been featured in solo and group exhibitions, including venues such as the Ancient Spanish Monastery, Feria Clandestina, Parodi Costume Collection, the Brazilian Consulate in Miami, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Doral, MIFA – International Museum of Fine Arts Miami, TIAC Handweaving Museum in Clayton – New York, and most recently, at Paris Design Week. Fernanda actively participates in artistic communities such as The 55 Project, Uncool Artist International Art Community and FAMA (Fiber Artist Miami Association).
