Bio
Her work has been exhibited in international galleries and centers in Sweden, Chile, Mexico, Germany and Spain (Guillermina Caicoya Gallery, LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial, Off Ample Gallery, Museo Bellas Artes de Asturias, MUSAC, Amos Salvador, among others). Trained in Graphic Design and Art History, she has developed her creative career in Asturias with stays abroad. In the 90s, her stay in Manchester led her to create the installation El estudio del artista egoísta (The Selfish Artist's Studio). Using different strategies and disciplines, at a technical level he applies various media, from drawing or painting, text or action with a special interest in multimedia installation (sound). He proposes in his works a real communication with the citizen, making him a voluntary participant in the process. In 2019-20 the Museum of Fine Arts of Asturias is the protagonist of the specific project Nada,poco,bastante,mucho, working on documentation and statistical data of the institution. His work can be found in various private and public collections, including the Museum of Fine Arts of Oviedo, the Department of Culture of the Principality of Asturias, Caja de Ahorros de Asturias (Cajastur), the Monte de Piedad Collection (Seville), the Jovellanos Museum (Gijón), and MUSAC (León).
