Statement

The Mexican Cultural Institute in Miami (ICM), was founded on February 26, 2002. Since its inception, the ICM has developed inside and outside its spaces an intense work of promotion and dissemination of history, literature, cinematography, gastronomy, scenic and plastic arts of Mexico. Likewise, it has been characterized by providing support to new artistic trends and generations, thus promoting its international projection.
Among the objectives of the ICM stand out, to show the cultural heritage of Mexico and its contemporary artistic offer. In addition, spread the activities of Mexican creators, promote our traditions and strengthen ties with other countries through art events.
The mission of the ICM is to strengthen the image of Mexico abroad, as well as to project the richness and diversity of Mexican art and culture in South Florida.
