While the Main Section will host established galleries, this year’s edition of Pinta will provide a stronger emphasis to Solo and Special Projects. Working with esteemed curators Félix Suazo, Oscar Roldán and Luis Fumero, these two sections will highlight the individual voices of artists who inspire courage and originality. Last but not least, the Editions section will distinguish itself with graphic pieces. All of Pinta’s sections will, of course, be complemented by Pinta Live: where the global public will not only gain access to the fair, but much more too.
With the curatorship of Oscar Roldán and Luis Fumero, the Solo Projects section acquires a stronger protagonism this year. The section is dedicated to gallery exhibitions that consist of works by a selected artist. It is the perfect opportunity for exhibitors to shine a bit extra, and for visitors to relate more profoundly and personally with artists.
Installations by Nan González, Martín Touzón and Lisu Vega
With the curatorship of Félix Suazo, Pinta Miami 2021 will become a scenario for immersive and thought provoking installations. The aim is to accentuate the individuality and artistry of contemporary artists who, through their works and installations, bring to life the concerns and possibilities of the near future. Special Projects will feature artists Nan González, (Courtesy of the artist and Henrique Faria, New York) Martín Touzón (Courtesy of the artist and Tomás Redrado Art Gallery, Miami) and Lisu Vega (Courtesy of the artist and Bag Online Art Gallery, Houston)."
