Rafael Barrios and Rafael Rangel Serrano
The Sculpture Garden: Rafael Barrios and Rafael Rangel Serrano is conceived as a space that explores the relationships between sculpture, architecture and rest areas in a unique context at the Hangar, Coconut Grove. Both artists each approach the sculpture from their own place. They seek discomfort in abstraction, Rafael Rangel Serrano through the disorder of anarchic compositions while Rafael Barrios through the challenge of the two-dimensional and the three-dimensional, experimenting with the modification of the rules of geometry.
