Ana Zorraquin

Photographer specialized in cyanotypes.
She studied Philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Buenos Aires. My training in photography began at the Raota Institute. I participated in various work clinics, including those of Miguel Zurraco and the contemporary photographer Vivian Galbán. I took editing workshops with Julieta Escardo, I trained in lighting at the Aloha school with Bob Lightowler, I did the Still-Life workshop with Laura Letinsky and I attended Sandra Siviero's workshops on ancient developing techniques. I am currently participating as an artist in the 2022 edition of the PAC Project (Contemporary Artistic Practices).

"Acquis tectonico" belongs to the Factum series. Emotional images pile up in our memory, generating an emotional collection of images, to which we turn to decipher the mysteries of our past, making it present in a narrative. As we live, our memory stores the images that we voluntarily want to remember or that involuntarily accumulate in our unconscious reservoir.
